What a great story! This book was such a gift to me because not only am I Scots, but I live in Shelby, right next to Kings mountain. I so loved the use of the Scots Gaelic and all the characters were enjoyable.Product details

I've read all of Stephanie's stories, but this one is my favorite. Its as if the main characters voice is louder than any character this gifted writer has ever heard and long after you finish reading the last delicious drop, you will remember her voice and her strength and her unwavering heart.
Mainly because it was mentioned before . What happened to the settlement,to Pete,Ginny and her aunt and uncle? Lots of story lines left unfinished. Is there a series in the making. Didn't they have birth control ?
